This teak table, like all of our teak furniture, is manufactured from specially selected teak, grown on sustainable growth forests on the island of Java. Teak wood specially selected from reserved production forests, carefully managed by the government forestry agency. These forests are managed by the Indonesian government to ensure that the harvested wood remains a renewable resource for generations to come.
For years of trouble-free use, the frame construction of this item is rugged and long-lasting and is usually reserved for only the highest quality teak furniture. All joinery is mortise and tenon, which is further reinforced with the use of dowels joints.
